Step 1: Press the 'home' button to access the main menu

Step 2: Use the directional pad to select the 'settings' menu

Step 3: press the '2' button to access the 'Advanced' menu

Step 4: When prompted for a password please enter either [456] (Polycom Default) or [347479989] (Evolve IP Password) and then press 'Enter'

Step 5: Press the '1' key to select 'Administration Settings'

Step 6: Press the '5' key to select 'Reset to Defaults'

Step 7: Press the '5' key to select 'Reset to Factory'

Step 8: Press the 'Yes' softkey when asked 'Are you sure?'

ALTERNATIVE METHOD TO FACTORY DEFAULT A VVX:


Step 1. Hold in the keys 1, 3, 5 simultaneously.

Step 2. Enter the Advanced Password when prompted.

Step 3. The phone will now factory default/reset.
