Issue

Client's email server has failed.  You need to create a Mimecast Continuity Event so the client can log into MPP (Mimecast personal portal) and use the Web interface to send/receive email until their server issue is resolved.

Solution

  1. Login to the administration console.
  2. Click on Administration.
  3. Click on Services.
  4. Click on Continuity.
  5. Select 'Look Up' to apply to the Affected Group. Use AD Group (if there is no AD connector, you will need to manually create a new group with affected e-mail addresses)
  6. Be sure to select 'Save' once finished.
