Problem
Create a disclaimer for a single user within exchange.
Solution
- Log into server and open Exchange Management Console.
- Open the Organization Configuration tree, click Hub Transport, and click Transport Rules tab
- Right click the space on the Transport Rules tab and click New Transport Rule
- Enter the name and comment (comment optional) of your new rule and click "Next"
- Check the box next to “from people” and click the “people” link in the Step 2 text box
- Click Add on the popup window and pick the user account that needs the disclaimer
- After the address of the user appears in the Step 2 text box click "Next"
- On the Actions page, check the box “append disclaimer text and fallback to action if unable to reply”
- Click the “disclaimer text” link in the Step 2 text box
- Enter disclaimer text into the popup text box (html formatting works here), click “OK”, and click “Next”
- Add exceptions as needed and click "Next"
- Review your choices and click “New” to create the rule
