Directions for implementing permanent password
- Press the voicemail, messages, or mail icon on your phone
- Enter your temporary voice portal password
- After you enter the temporary code, you will be prompted to create your new password
- Please refer to the password criteria below when selecting a new password
- Once the password criteria have been met, the voice portal will ask you to enter it again to confirm.
- You are now ready to access your voicemails.
New Password Criteria
Cannot be sequential digits (e.g. 123456, 987654)
Cannot be repeated pattern (e.g. 123123, 121212, etc.)
Cannot be repeated digits (e.g. 111111, 222222)
Cannot be the user's extension or phone number
Cannot be the user's extension or phone number reversed
Cannot be the old passcode
Must be between 6 and 8 depending upon the initial setup, please see your System Admin should there be any confusion.
