All XTIUM WaaS products need a complex password which has a few required elements.

Complex passwords must be at eight seven characters long and contain three of the following four items:

  • Uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • Lowercase letter (a-z)
  • Number (0-9)
  • Symbol (%, &, @, !, $, etc.)

Passwords may not contain:

  • Username (i.e. first initial last name)
  • First or last name

Passwords should not contain, per industry best-practices:

  • Easily recognized sequences like dates or phone numbers
  • The same company-wide characters for all users

continuumCLOUD users must change their password every 90 days and new passwords cannot be the same as the previous ten passwords.
