Product Description:

The Evolved Office allows customers to take advantage of hunt groups, at no additional monthly charge to customers.  Hunt groups are a method for ringing one of more persons with the ability to display a unique caller ID for the user to know the number being called, either directly or an extension off an auto-attendant.  For example, you may have an option to press 2 for sales on an auto-attendant and ring 6 sales associates at the same time.  Users in a hunt group must be Standard or Premium users.

The maximum number of users to ring simultaneously is 10.  Excessive simultaneous hunt group members may cause issues with call capacity at customer location.  If hunt groups terminate into a Voicemail (Unified Messaging) box that is NOT associated with an Evolved Office user, an additional Unified Messaging License will be billed to customer.

Evolve IP offers the following options for Hunt Group settings:

  • Circular: Calls are distributed to hunt group users in order, starting where the last hunt ended
  • Regular:Calls are distributed to users in order, always starting with the same user.
  • Simultaneous:Calls are distributed to all hunt group users simultaneously.
  • Uniform: Calls are distributed uniformly to hunt group users, starting with the most idle user.

Pricing:

The Hunt Group Service itself is $0/mrc. However if a Direct DialNumber or Voicemail license is assigned those add-on's are additional costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q: Should I put Additional Numbers or Enhanced Routing on a sales order?  My customer is going to ask me about them before they sign and it could delay the signature?

A: It is always recommended that all costs are on the table during the sales process.  Otherwise, the customer will inquire when they receive their first bill and there will be explaining to do and potentially a referral lost given the level of sensitivity.

Q: How can I route my main number to a receptionist and then to a group of people if she doesn’t answer?

A: You can have numbers roll from one hunt group into another to allow for numbers to ring from one (or more) people into a secondary group of users for optimum coverage.

Q: Can I add a voicemail box to an auto-attendant or a hunt group?  If so, are there costs associated with the mailbox?

A: Yes.  This is common for main numbers that have a company voicemail box.  The cost is $3/ month for Unified Messaging mailbox.

Q: Can users add storage to their voicemail boxes?

A: Yes, default Voicemail storage is 30 minutes.  Selection of additional storage increases the user storage to 100 Minutes, and can be added in 100 Minute increments thereafter.  Maximum voicemail storage is 900 minutes.

Q: What’s the difference between the Receptionist licenses?  Does that mean I get 8 licenses, 30 licenses, or unlimited licenses to install this software for numerous users to login?

A: It’s funny you should ask, but a great question.  8, 30, unlimited refers to the amount of people the receptionist can monitor within the organization.  So, a receptionist working for an organization with 23 people could choose the 30-user version.

Q: Can I have multiple soft clients for the same user and does that cost more?

A: Yes.  You can choose the Premium User-No Device and attach additional soft clients for that user to it.  Only one user may be logged in at a time, but there are no additional charges.

Q: When do I use the Enhanced Routing Feature?

A: Enhanced Routing allows companies to dynamically route their main number(s) or hunt groups based on incoming number or time schedules. By default, Evolve IP provides a Main Number with each Evolved Office location. The Main number is statically routed to an Auto Attendant, Evolved Office user, ACD or Hunt Group. Enhanced Routing is an add-on feature that will provide multiple routing options based on time of day scheduling or Hunt Group/Call Center environments. In summary, this feature is used when you need to route a main number or hunt group to another device or destination.  For an after-hours situation where a company wants to route a call to an answering service or other alternate destination, the enhanced routing feature is needed.

Q: How much storage comes with a Voicemail Box?

A: Total amount of minutes: 30. Option to purchase additional storage in 100 Minute increments. See above pricing
