As a best practice, let the customer know that the blue question mark under departments takes them to a link in our public knowledgebase, and that they have the ability to do this in OSSMossis 5.

In OSSmosis 5, fill in the Customer and Location information. You can choose any location. 


Click on 'Telephony Setup,' and click on 'Manage' under Departments




Select the Add icon in the bottom right corner to add new department.





Ask the customer if we are adding the department at the Group or Enterprise level.




When adding a Department at the Enterprise level enter in the Department Name and the Parent Department.  The parent department links to another Enterprise level department but is not mandatory.



Save changes



To add a Group Level Department, select the location of that group first.



Within departments, select Group when adding a new department.  When adding a new Group department enter in the Department name, Parent Department, Calling Line ID and Calling Line ID Number.  The only mandatory field is the Department name.



Save changes
