Login to the Hosted Exchange portal.
Username: evolveip
Password: XXXXXXXX
Click Manage Exchange at the top.
Left click on the customer to display the menu, and click on Mailboxes.
Click on the Add Mailbox option in the menu on the right hand side.
Click on Select Exisiting User to see if the user already has info set up. If not, select New User
Note: If they don't have any remaining licenses, escalate the ticket.
The mailbox name should be the name of the user.
This information is typically provided by the user, and typically follows the following format. Confirm this with the user.
Ex. Steve smith ssmith@webday1.com
You can either ask the user what password they would like to use, or click the Generate Password button to generate a random passsword.
Make sure to check off the Show Characters checkbox to view the password generated and provide it to the customer.
Check the Active Sync option. Leave Sync Policy to default.
Click Advanced Options
Fill out:
First Name
Lasts Name
Display name (First + Last)
Company
Click Add Mailbox
