Click "TELEPHONY SETUP"





Click 'MANAGE' on Hunt Groups





Click on the orange circle in the bottom right hand corner





Click on 'Add Hunt Group' or the plus icon





Start filling out the fields as per needed. The next instruction explains some of the fields and what to put in them





Explanation of Fields

  • Name = Give the Hunt Group a suitable name as per the customer's wish
  • Hunt Group ID = Make sure the Hunt Group ID is the same as the name
  • Group Policy = Pick one of the options shown below
    • Circular =  Any number in the Hunt Group can be called and if the line is busy then the next line available line will ring
    • Regular = With this, there is a sequential order of agents receiving the calls so if one person has already received the call, then the next person in the order to receive the call and so on
    • Simultaneous = Select this option if customer wants every Hunt Group member's phone to ring when a call is made to the Hunt Group
    • Uniform = when the Hunt Group Number is dialed the most idle line will ring and it will evenly distribute calls
  • First/Last Name Calling ID = Assign a name of the customer's liking to indicate that call is coming via the Hunt Group as opposed to a direct call

The rest of options should be filled out per the customers wishes like time zones and then you should assign a phone number and extension that customers want if they are available. The No Answer settings, Not Reachable Settings, Calling Line ID settings and checking the box with allow Call Waiting should also be filled out to the customer's wishes 









Then click on the orange circle in the bottom right hand corner







And then click on the 'Save' button or the save icon






The Hunt Group has been created but users need to be added so in the seach bar, look the Hunt Group up







Once the search returns results, then click on the three dots on the far right of the search result







In the contextual menu that pops up, click on Edit Users






Then, click on the orange circle to add users






Search for a user using the search bars and filters and then check mark the box next to the user and then select save. If you want to add a group of users at once, then after you select the check mark in the box next to the user, search for the other users and put check marks next to the users' boxes and then select save. This will create a functional Hunt Group with users in it
