Below is a list of devices that customers have tested successfully running on the ThinOS thin clients certified to work with XTIUM's DaaS platform.  HID accessories are not listed as all native USB devices should be compatible (wired and wireless adapted).

This document does not serve to "certify" or authorize the use of particular non-HID peripherals, but provide some guidelines for implementing accessories.

Monitors

All modern monitors should be supported by Dell thin clients.  However, there are some important notes.

The different Dell models certified by XTIUM support different resolutions.

  • 3040: Up to two 2560 x 1600 displays
  • 5070 (with 4GB RAM): Up to two 2560 x 1600 displays
  • 5070 (with 8GB RAM): Up to two 3840 x 2160 displays


All current Dell models of thin clients have DP (Display Port) output for monitors.  If users have monitors that don't have DP inputs, they may need an adapter cable.

Barcode scanners and card readers are considered HID devices and should work natively.
